PRACTICE AREAS
Drug Offenses
Drug offenses include possession of a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance, conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and many more.
DUI/DWI
A DUI can have far reaching consequences for anyone convicted. Not only are there criminal penalties at stake, but your driving privileges can also be suspended or revoked, even for a first-time DUI. The deadline to halt a suspension or revocation is short so call us as soon as possible so we can begin working on your case.
Property Crimes
Property crimes include theft/larceny, burglary, trespassing, criminal damage to property, and arson.
Violent Offenses
Violent offenses include robbery, assault, and homicides. These crimes often carry some of the most severe punishments allowable under the law including life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Weapons Offenses
Weapons offenses includes crimes such as felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon, manufacture/sale/distribution/repair of an illegal firearm, and armed criminal action.
Domestic Assault
Domestic assault is listed as it's own category of crime because it spans both the misdemeanor and felony ranges of punishment and necessarily involves an alleged victim who the accused is in a domestic relationship with. A conviction of domestic assault, even at the misdemeanor level, will forfeit your gun rights under Federal Law.
F.A.Q.
It is important to remain calm during any interaction with law enforcement. Be sure to obey all lawful orders given to you, but don’t offer up unnecessary information. When the time is appropriate, ask the officer if you are being detained. If the answer is yes, remain silent and call my office as soon as you can. If the answer is no, ask the officer if you are free to leave. If the answer is no, you are, in fact being detained and should remain silent and call my office as soon as possible. If the answer is yes, you should take the opportunity to leave the situation.
